Artisanal donuts offer sophisticated comfort

Mark Isreal started making doughnuts in 1994 at Doughnut Plant with his grandfather’s eggless recipe, and the company has been around ever since. “Our signature doughnut is the creme brulee doughnut,” Isreal says, which features vanilla bean custard inside and torched sugar on top, reports’s Lauren Glassberg of WABC-NY’s Eyewitness News.
